Personal Biography Statement

Nancy Sayre is the Associate Vice President of Innovative and Lifelong Learning where she focuses on developing new academic programs aligned with the mission and financial goals of MSU Denver. Working with academic departments, Innovative and Lifelong Learning explores workplace opportunities, community collaborations and other new educational modalities. Previously, Sayre was a Department Chair in the College of Professional Studies and a tenured associate professor. She has developed new degrees and certificate programs, is an HLC peer reviewer, and an active participant on many MSU Denver task forces. Sayre started her career in the health care industry where she held entrepreneurial, research, editorial and clinical positions. Prior to joining academia, Sayre was the Senior Vice President for an international corporation producing databases and software applications.
